4-10-13-new-moon

As seeds burst through the earth, pushing towards the light to grow, that is the season we are in. Personalities may clash, words spoken without thought, unawareness of “others” and their needs. Aries pushes through with great courage and conviction. Now is the time to have it tempered with compassion and wisdom … to be MINDFUL of our actions. When we align with Great Spirit, God/Goddess/ALL THAT IS, we receive help on all levels. Gratitude is the key to success in all relationships. Drop the ones that no longer serve, strengthen the connections with your Spirit family and proceed to manifest the DREAMS you were born for!

I also want to SHARE this excellent article by Henry Seltzer as well. It’s important to see different perspectives. Enjoy!

The New Moon in late Aries, taking place early on Wednesday morning, is a special one. It is accompanied by a triple conjunction of Mars, Venus and the new planet, Eris, making a total of six planets in Aries counting Sun and Moon, since Uranus also resides at the 10th degree of Aries in forming square with Pluto. The new dwarf planet, Eris, is a feminine warrior energy, and so is quite a fitting accompaniment for Mars and Venus in conjunction only a few degrees away. We therefore have a distinct focus on relationship now, and a coming together of masculine and feminine elements in pursuit of better connections, both romantic and non-romantic, between us all. Justly is it said that we need each other in order that we begin, as a culture, to truly shine. With a focus on relationship at the center of this New Moon, the entire lunar cycle that begins with this configuration is colored by it, so that the remainder of April and into May could be termed a “relationship month.” We might want to ask ourselves where we could do more to connect over to the other side of our own particular gender; where as masculine players we might try to adopt a softer approach, and where, as softer more feminine beings of either physical gender, we might — in connection with the masculine — employ more assertive techniques and state our actual needs. In this way we could find ourselves better able to connect with friends, and with partners, and with perhaps neglected parts of ourselves.

It was the amazing psychologist and philosopher C. G. Jung who first formulated that all persons of a typical gender, such as the masculine, contained within themselves an opposite gender part that was desperately craving to be recognized and accepted as a valid piece of the intriguing puzzle of one’s deeper nature. In a man, he termed this the Anima, or feminine soul within, and in a woman, the Animus. These disinherited parts are very commonly projected onto a partner, and the astrology of an individual chart gives insight as to their hidden qualities, and the likely characteristics of the person to whom that individual would be attracted. But it is better yet when these choices are more conscious, and when an integration can take place between these various parts.

We get an interesting picture of this when we examine the Sabian symbols for the Sun and Moon, in contrast with the symbols for Venus and Mars. For the New Moon, “A pugilist entering the ring” — a very masculine image — while for the others “A woman in pastel colors carrying a valuable load” and “An open window, a net curtain, blowing into a cornucopia,” which Marc Edmond Jones refers to as “joyful realization” and “an irrepressible genius for capturing the richer rewards of life.” Together these could signify the enhanced possibilities of an integration between the masculine and feminine sides of our natures.

With Mercury still in Pisces, and in aspect to both Mars and Venus at the time of this New Moon configuration, it is thus an excellent time to continue observing all that we do with regard to our relationship partners. We might be able to catch ourselves in the act of habitual patterns that have outlived their usefulness, or perhaps give each other a break at a moment when we had been about to deny one.

3-27-2013 Full Moon 6 degrees Libra 2:27 AM PDT

fullmoon-libra

Spring and Aries (Red Hawk) start a time of excitement and movement … this Full Moon in the opposite sign Libra (Raven) is a time to reflect and to listen to what our Higher Self wants us to realize. During a Full Moon we can “see”, if we take the time for ceremony and creating a sacred space. I love to clear my crystals, this is an excellent time to put your crystals and personal medicine out to bathe in the moonlight … clearing away any negative energies. 3 days before and 3 days after are the strongest frequencies to align with.

Raven Medicine,  POB (point of balance) – when Raven people are in balance they have the gifts of intelligence, introspection, attracting earth energy to balance with sky, loyalty to tribe, courageous and are capable of easily soaring from one realm to another.  They can “see” from a higher viewpoint and take their time to make decisions. When their POB is off, they temporarily become disoriented and confused, unable to make choices, can be extremely judgmental and care too much what others think of them. By nature they are adaptable, don’t want to make waves that may disturb the group and they easily adjust to changes in the physical world. Happiest when in a group of like-minded energies and sharing emotional support.

This Full Moon Raven energy takes us to a place of balancing our physical with Nature!  Red Hawk is ready to adventure and Raven is a bit cautious wanting us to look “mirror” what we’ve been dreaming all winter.

Astrologically, Aries (ME) is the “I AM” the 1st day of Spring, the adventurer and the warrior. Libra (WE) is the “Balance” of good/bad, night/day, male/female … the Oneness, union of opposites and tribe.

As we are still dealing with Pisces (Cougar) energies (Neptune, Mercury and Chiron) we are still DREAMING our futures! Take the time to slow down, honoring where the “self” has been and where NOW to take the dream. Journal your goals, it would be an excellent way to assist the dreams into become realities.

WE hope you enjoy this beautiful moonlight … remember the Moon receives its light from the Sun, what a powerful time!!

3-20-2013 Sun enters Aries (Red Hawk) 4:02 AM PDT

aries-MWAHappy first day of Spring … it feels so good to come out of the “dark” and a time of hibernation, to this glorious new beginning of adventure, potential and life! The teachings from this place in the Medicine Wheel offer many opportunities to be the “warrior”, to what degree depends on the personal power of the “I AM” spiritual energy of each and the “mirrors” they meet. It’s important to observe very closely now, Aries is about “centering the self, rather than being self-centered“. Aries energy is that of the “I AM”  … afraid of nothing and ready for any adventure! With MARS as my guide and mentor, I have a great deal of energy, enthusiasm, courage and determination. “I AM” Fire… creative energy… “I AM” ready for the journey… Sounds just like Red Hawk! AHO!

Venus (lover of peace & beauty) enters Aries until 4-15-13 and it joins the Sun (focused spot light) and Uranus (sudden and unexpected actions), which activates this fire sign energy. Women are playing a bigger role in deciding what is fair in love and war and Venus will be heard!

“Being of the Budding Trees Moon, the first Moon of the Spring, the moon of the spring Equinox, gives Red Hawk people a further boost in energy levels. This is the moon that governs one of the most rapid times of growth for all of earth’s children, and so it brings with it an energy of rapid growth and change. This helps to give Red Hawk people their apparent adaptability, an ability to grow quickly from one philosophy or project to another.” (Sun Bear pg 44*)

Red Hawk circles above and examines before acting, for this is a time of keen observation and patience. This “higher” perspective can give a view of things that others may not see. Red Hawk loves to flow with the air currents and fly with ease and great joy, So Be It NOW for us to bring our dreams back from the Pisces dream time and create the reality that we desire.

Full Moon Aries (Red Hawk)

Aries (Red Hawk)

Thunderbird Clan (Fire Signs) represents the ego and the “creative fire within” which manifests goals. Ego will find its balance during this time.

Dandelion is their Plant; the bold yellow/gold color expresses active, energetic lifestyles and detoxifies the blood stream after a long winter.

Opal is their Stone, which stimulates creativity to get things started and the fire energy to finish them. Opals are symbols of hope and their sparkle ignites!

Have a wonderful and exciting journey, we love and bless you!

4/6/2012 Full Moon Libra (Raven)

Libra (Raven)Starting the week on Monday the 2nd the Moon in Leo (Sturgeon) is finishing up with a weekend of “dramas”, excitement and a lot of self centeredness going around! It’s always “big” with this energy, we’re still in Aries, so expect it! Tuesday the Moon shifts into Virgo and we’ll be “analyzing” all of it! Virgo (Brown Bear), introspection, looking at motivation and intention and processing.  We start to feel the energy and light of this big beautiful Moon in Libra (balance) and if we take the time to embrace the messages … there’s BIG GIFTS!

Friday 4/6/2012 the Full Moon occurs at 12:19 PM (PDT) 17 degrees Libra (Raven). This represents shadow work, polarity of the light and dark, working in harmony and balance.  ALLOW the light of this Moon to bathe your body, mind and spirit, as the magical Raven takes you on a journey through truth/illusion, seeing the other side of situations, giving new perspectives. This is the Moon of nonjudgement, releasing the need to blame others or to have their approval. Our stories “they made me do it!” or ” I’m not good enough, smart enough, not enough money, or ?? In this light we can “see” whatever our excuse is that keeps us from our Highest Potential, what causes many to be “frozen” with fear unable to access the power of its opposite sign Aries the “I AM THAT I AM”. Now is, FACING OUR SHADOW, embracing the Light, flying through time and space with Raven as Guide and Protector! AHO Welcome Raven!

Raven (Libra)

Raven travel with me through the light and darkness safely.
