- 7/18/2012 New Moon in Cancer (Flicker)
Here we are today feeling the energies of this New Moon, a cycle which represents new beginnings, creating our “wish list” and planting the seeds for our garden. However, when Mercury is retrograde we are told NOT to start anything new, be aware of the “unexpected”, do the best we can and basically lay low until it turns direct. How limiting is that?? It would be wise to note the unevolved energies of the sign Cancer first … moody, emotional, irrational, insecure, takes things way too personal and carries the “cross” (burdens) for others … well, you can see where we’re going here. The evolved Cancer – Flicker, loves and nurtures the emotional/physical/Spiritual self, takes time to love and honor the temple (body), loves to eat very good food and enjoys the company of precious Ones “Family”. They can do All of this while having healthy boundaries with unconditional love from the heart. AHO
While Mercury remains retrograde in LEO – Sturgeon (see last article) we are all getting opportunities to see where we are in our growth. Unevolved Leo is getting many lessons about humility. There are teachings about rudeness, lots of drama and scenes when things don’t go the way we wanted them to be, plus a measure of arrogance and egotism. Yet, Leo when evolved is so generous and fun to be around, they light up a room, perhaps after decorating it lavishly first! They love to share their heart especially for children, enjoying “acting” or performing. They are youthful and enthusiastic; not wanting to miss out on the adventures. Like the King of fish, Sturgeon, we might want to adventure into the greater emotional depths and explore our inner self in ALL its grandness. See the “stories” for what they are, the past that makes up your emotional body and wake up the child-like nature that believes in the magic of life and the goodness of others.
This is such a powerful New Moon NOW … We can set our intentions to clear all the negative emotions and energies, things that hold us back from living our bliss and open our hearts to the JOY of LIFE!
