Born Eric Alexander and Judi
Savoy, we met in Crested Butte, CO in 1985 and
married January 26, 1986 on the Full Moon in Leo
and the Sun in Aquarius. Every year our
anniversary is a different date corresponding to
the Full Moon in Leo and the vision of *Star*
gets stronger every year.
Our name was received
in a vision quest and we did sweat lodges and
fasting to finally get what it was. The name STAR
represents a humbleness with great
responsibility. "STAR reminds us to be a shining
light for those on the path, not one that blinds
others with self importance". We both feel
that "To be a Star, you must shine your
own light, follow your own path, and don't
worry about the darkness, for that is when
Stars shine the brightest".* It is
really about blending a deep sense of
humility with a tea spoon of grandiosity.
